Dr. Swayambar Prasad (S.P.) Sudrania is a pioneer in the field of Indian Paediatrics. Born in Islampur, Jhunjhunu, he rose to become the first M.D. in Paediatrics from the University of Rajasthan in 1966, where he achieved top honours. His career is defined by a commitment to the most vulnerable members of society—children.
Throughout 33 years of government service at institutions like SMS Medical College and JK Lon Children Hospital, Dr. Sudrania guided 18 medical doctorates and examined nearly 6,000 students. His academic reach extended to Duke Medical Center (USA) and various medical congresses in Japan, Brazil, and Egypt.
